Main Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft legal opinions;
• Draft, revise and negotiate various types of contracts;
• Draft and revise laws and regulations;
• Act as a corporate secretary to indigenous businesses and entities;
• Advise indigenous businesses, corporations and governments on their projects and activities.

Experience Required

• 1 to 5 years of experience working in a law firm;
• Experience in commercial law, corporate law, administrative law or environmental law an asset.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in law;
• A member in good standing with the Quebec Bar.

Skills Required

• Bilingualism in both oral and written;
• Ability to work autonomously as part of a team;
• Demonstrate initiative and a sense of responsibility;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Analytical and synthesizing skills;
• Thoroughness and attention to detail;
• Ability to manage time and priorities effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
