Derrek Giroux-Lacasse joined our team in 2018 when he helped establish the Val-d'Or office. Since the beginning of his career, he has focused his practice on representing his clients before the courts in Family Law, Youth Protection, and Civil Law.

Originally from Belleterre in the Témiscamingue region, he took his first steps in the legal world in a private office in Gatineau as a legal assistant, while still a student.

With a strong attachment to Abitibi-Témiscamingue, he returned to the region as an articling student, before being called to the Quebec Bar in 2016. He is rooted in his community, where he is involved with various organizations.
