Yves Archambault has been a partner at the office since 2011. His extensive litigation experience includes civil law, family law, business law, construction law, and labor law.

He acts with entrepreneurial clients in all aspects of litigation as well as in matters of business relationships. He also has experience in intellectual property law and works in particular with stakeholders in the music industry and in the production and distribution of sound recordings and in the negotiation of agreements.

During his career, he has pleaded before courts of all jurisdictions including numerous administrative tribunals, the Court of Quebec, the Superior Court, the Quebec Court of Appeal as well as the Supreme Court of Canada. He also pleaded certain cases before the Federal Court.

Since 2007, he has been providing legal advice to communities and businesses in the Cree Nation of Eeyou Istchee. He works closely with the office's Indigenous law team, in particular as a legal counsel in matters of corporate governance, contractual negotiations, construction law and labour law.
